This Privacy Policy describes how information is processed in connection with Cats Apart: Logic Puzzle, its game services, and related websites. “We,” “us,” and “our” refer to the operator of Cats Apart. “Personal information” means information that identifies a person or can reasonably be linked to a person or device.

The information involved depends on your app version, device, location, enabled services, and the features you use. This policy covers gameplay, advertising, measurement, optional rewards and withdrawals, and support.

Information we process

Account and gameplay information

Game account or installation identifiers, session information, settings, level progress, puzzle interactions, tutorial steps, tasks, tool usage, and reward records support the game and your progress. Event records may include an event time, session identifier, app version, language, distribution channel, country, and related gameplay context.

Device, connection and technical information

Depending on the enabled services, this may include an app installation identifier, an app-scoped Android ID where used, SDK identifiers, advertising identifiers, device or operating-system details, app version, IP address, network information, and diagnostic or performance records. Country information may come from network or SIM country settings, device locale, or attribution information.

Advertising and attribution events

Records may describe ad requests, impressions, interactions, completion, errors, and reward eligibility. Measurement may also include installation, registration, tutorial completion, and level-completion events.

Optional rewards and withdrawals

If you use a withdrawal feature, we may process the chosen payment method, payment account identifier or email address, recipient information requested by that method, withdrawal amount, status, and transaction or verification records. The Android game uses network permissions for online services and advertising. The permissions available in a particular release can also reflect the SDKs included in that release.

Advertising and measurement partners

The game integrates AppLovin MAX for advertising and Adjust for attribution and measurement. Mediated advertising integrations include InMobi, Liftoff/Vungle, and Pangle. Which network serves an ad can vary by release, configuration, device, and region.

These services may process identifiers, device and connection information, app or session information, country or approximate location derived from network information, and advertising or conversion events. Their processing, purposes, retention, and privacy controls are described in their own policies.

Rewarded-ad records help verify that the appropriate game reward is credited. Providing payment account details is not necessary simply to play an advertisement. Advertising choices do not necessarily remove advertising from the game.

How information is shared

Information may be disclosed to providers supporting hosting, game operations, analytics, advertising, attribution, customer support, security, and payment processing, as needed for the relevant purpose. Some partners process information on our behalf; others may process information under their own policies and applicable responsibilities.

For withdrawal requests, information needed to identify the recipient, verify eligibility, prevent fraud, and handle the transaction may be provided to the relevant payment or processing providers. The information involved depends on the payment method you choose.

Storage on your device and the web

The game uses local storage or device preferences for settings, session-related information, installation identifiers, progress-related state, and queued measurement events. Clearing local data may reset preferences or affect access to an existing game session. It does not automatically remove records held by game services or third parties.

This privacy page does not include an advertising SDK, an analytics tracker, or a form that collects your information. Its visual assets and fonts are served with the website. Hosting services may process connection information and access logs to deliver and secure the page. If the host requires sign-in, its authentication practices also apply.

Retention, security and transfers

Retention depends on the purpose, account activity, outstanding rewards or transactions, disputes, fraud-prevention needs, and legal requirements. First-party analytics is currently configured to retain raw event records for 31 days and daily summary records for up to 365 days. These analytics periods do not describe every account, reward, payment, support, or third-party record.

Information no longer needed for its applicable purpose should be deleted or anonymized, subject to legitimate retention requirements. Third-party services apply their own retention practices. You may request deletion by emailing [email protected]; section 9 explains the scope of these requests.

Safeguards may include authenticated sessions, access restrictions, limited access to operational records, and appropriate protection of stored or transmitted information. No system or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Service providers may process information outside your country. Where international transfer requirements apply, the transfer must be supported by the required safeguards. The appropriate arrangements depend on the countries and services involved.

Privacy rights and data deletion

Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or receive a copy of personal information; restrict or object to processing; withdraw consent; and opt out of certain targeted advertising, sharing, sale, or profiling. You may also have a right to complain to an appropriate data protection authority.

Requests may require proportionate verification to protect your information. Include your game account identifier and a short description of your request when emailing [email protected]. Do not provide a password. If some records must be retained for a legitimate reason, such as fraud prevention, an unresolved transaction, or a legal obligation, that limitation should be explained when handling the request.

Deleting the app or clearing its local storage is different from deleting an account and information held by game services. A request for account deletion concerns the account and associated information, subject to applicable retention obligations.

Device settings may provide controls for advertising identifiers, ad personalization, and app permissions. Partner privacy pages may offer additional controls. Availability varies, and opting out of personalization does not necessarily prevent all ads or service-related processing.

Children’s information

Children’s information requires additional care. Access to game features, advertising, rewards, and payment services must take account of applicable age restrictions and regional requirements. Where parental authorization is required, it must be obtained before the relevant processing.

A parent or guardian who believes a child has provided information that should not have been collected may ask for review and, where required, deletion by emailing [email protected]. Do not send a child’s full identity documents or unrelated information to support.

Updates to this policy

This policy may change when game features, service providers, data practices, or applicable requirements change. The date at the top identifies the latest update. Material changes should be brought to your attention through an appropriate notice, and additional consent must be requested where required.
